The main objective of the Youth for Tourism project is to boost employment of the skilled workforce and self-employed, especially, of skilled youth, in the Albanian labor market. Following the economic crisis, Albania has been struggling with high unemployment as well with migration. Under this situation, the youth are faced with limited employment opportunities, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Employment of the skilled workforce and self-employed in the Albanian labor market, particularly of skilled youth, is insufficient.
PROGRESS Foundation, in cooperation with the local municipality of Rrogozhina, and Albatros Resort (local business), brought a new approach and a different vision to overcome the situation, supporting the youth of the region to fill the social gaps.

That being said, Youth for Tourism is a project dedicated to promoting social inclusion and volunteering, addressing youth unemployment issues in the region of Spille, Rrogozhina. Through this project, PROGRESS foundation aimed at contributing to the participants’ professional growth in the field of tourism, as well as, strengthening their impact in the community of Spille region.
