Dibra Tourism Academy is a social initiative, project of PROGRESS Foundation, organized under the program Sustainable Rural Development implemented by GIZ Albania. This project aims to combine the tourism potential of Dibra with the potential and energy of its young people. In other words, the main objective of the DTA project is to promote tourism in Dibër, through directly investing in their professional development via training, presentations, debates, competitions and social activities, in partnership with public institutions of the city.
The project gathered 50 young people who are unemployed and come from rural areas with no access to services for their professional growth, socialization and involvement in the social and economic life of the city in order to promote their employment and self-employment.

The project enabled the inclusion of more young people who risk social exclusion due to unemployment, inability to access services, the disconnection of the society due to migration, etc.
